I am Museologist and Art Historian with experience working with cultural production and art education. I have a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture organized collaboratively by the Museo Reina Sofía, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I am also an alumna of the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where I trained as a museologist. In the last ten years, I have worked on different art and museology projects in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Madrid and Berlin. In 2019 I created wechseln, a series of art exhibitions that fosters the work of artists experimenting with video, performance and sound art. I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D Programme in Sociomuseology at the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon, Portugal, where I research decolonial practices in European museums. I join CARMAH in 2022 through an Erasmus programme and I will be working on the project CHAPTER: Challenging Populist Truth-Making in Europe: The Role of Museums in a Digital ‘Post-Truth’ European Society.
