After the screening of the short film Berlin Conversations on Mental Health that is currently part of the exhibition YOYI! Care, Repair, Heal at Gropius Bau, the film’s makers and members of its Advisory Board will discuss the process of this visual research project on mental health in Berlin.
The Mindscape film and online archive are the results of visual research that questions the understanding and definition of mental health in Berlin. For the film team, talking about mental health means questioning the fundamental aspects of living together. In particular, they wanted to understand how mental health is linked to social inequalities in the city.
The event takes place in English on 24 November at 6pm CET, at the Institute of European Ethnology (Room 408), and online.
